About Nicola Norrie

Following on from a successful corporate career spanning over 25 years working in a variety of different organisations I decided to utilise my skills to make a difference to others.   I chose to become an Independent Celebrant as I love working with people.  As an Independent Celebrant, I have the freedom and flexibility to create and officiate ceremonies for others celebrating the beginning of a new life or saying farewell to a loved one.  As a Celebrant my role is about storytelling, bringing your thoughts, memories and wishes together to create an uplifting and meaningful tribute to celebrate life. My love of working with people, attracted me to this particular vocation, it offers me the opportunity to support people through significant their life events and work together to create lasting memories.

I live close to Loch Lomond in Alexandria with my husband and two children Emily and Iain, we love doing things as a family and enjoying days out together, so free time is limited but when I do you will find me tuned into an Audio book, watching Harry Potter or catching up with my friends over a bite to eat.
